I’m not really an art kind of person. But several days ago, I saw some interesting pictures on instagram. After a little bit of research, I found out that it’s from Mr. Brainwash “Life is Beautiful” exhibition in Ara Modern Art Museum. I just really like what I saw, so I decided to come to this exhibition. And I like it more than I expected, so here I’ll share how the exhibition was. Check it out~

Seoraeseom is one of the artificial islands built on hangang riverside. It’s not that far from the famous Banpo Bridge.
Last week, me & my friend went to Seoraeseom to see canola flowers. We were afraid that it’d be very crowded since it was Sunday, so we went there around 9am. And I guess we were too early. It was really quiet, most visitors were ahjussi & ahjumma passing by after having morning jog and walk. 😀
After long winter, the spring finally sprung! Because of the global weirding, half of the spring still felt quite cold. It’s only last week I started to left my coat at home, after several days of rain and strong wind.
When waiting for spring to come, I learned this phrase “꽃샘추위”. It literally means “Winter is Jealous of The Blooming Flowers”. It usually happens in March when the weather start getting warmer but then it’s back to freezing cold for several days. Cute, eh?

Yeayy, fall is coming! It’s my most favorite season here in Korea. Soon, the fall foliage will be so prettyyy! It’s also said to be the best season to travel in Korea.
Seoul Eulalia Festival in Haneul Park Seoul is something you can not miss if you happen to visit Korea during this season. In this festival you can see a park full of eulalia or silver grass. For this year, the festival will be held in October 10-17. During the festival, the park will be open until 10pm. When you visit the park at night, you can see colorful laser shot through the silver grass. These are pictures from my visit last year.
But don’t worry, if you visit Korea after the festival ends you still can see the eulalia but only until 6pm and without the laser shot.
Because last year I’ve visited the festival at night, this year I want to see the day view. So, last week I went to the Haneul Park. And here are the photos
It’s pretty, isn’t it? The interesting part is that Haneul Park was once a massive landfill. This uncontrolled landfill was transformed into grassland park in 1993 as a project to restore and revitalize the area for the 2002 Korea/Japan World Cup. Woahh…
This park is the highest park in Seoul so you need to do a little hike to reach the park. It’s around 20 minute walk from the entrance. You can also take shuttle for 2000 KRW, but the line can be very long at times.
From this park, you can see beautiful view of Seoul. Go to the observation platform to see Bukhansan Mountain in the north, Namsan Mountain and the 63 Building in the east, Han River in the south and Haengjusanseon Fortress in the west.

Who doesn’t know Doraemon? I don’t know about other countries, but in Indonesia Doraemon is veryyy popular. Even now, I still remember its airing time in RCTI: every Sunday at 8am!
When I heard that there’s a Doraemon Expo in Seoul, I told myself not to miss it. So several days ago, I made a short visit to this 100 Doraemon Secret Gagets Expo. As the title suggests, there are 100 Doraemons here, each of them holding different secret gadgets. There are my favorite take-copter (baling-baling bambu), big light (senter pembesar), copying toast (roti penghafal), etc.
There’s anywhere door (pintu kemana saja) that makes me hope that it’s a real thing because that day was eid al-adha and it’d be nice if I can go home for awhile to celebrate the day. LOL.
The stairs nearby is painted with characters from Doraemon. And the time machine is there!
The expo is free. You can also buy some souvenirs, but I came too early and the souvenir shop was not open yet. There’s also Doraemon cafe in 5th floor of IPark Mall.
If you’re around Seoul, you still have time to visit this expo. 😀
